Rarity reflects what you actually encountered in the wild. Grade reflects your skill at capturing it — scored by framing, focus, angle, distance and lighting.
- A Common at SS is a connoisseur's trophy; a Mythic is a story you tell your Crew.
- You can never buy a rarity or a grade — you have to earn the shot.
- Every capture stays worth attempting, even for cards you already own.
Original by construction
Original Archetypes, never real brands
DriveHunt surfaces zero real automotive brands, logos, badges, or model names. The app reads only generic visual attributes on-device, then maps them to its own illustrated, fictional Archetypes.
- Original names, art, stats and lore — a whole invented vehicle universe.
- DriveHunt never tells you the make or model of your real car — that's a non-goal, on purpose.
- Classes span City, Sport, Muscle, Utility, Exotic, Electric and more — with room to grow into motorcycles, boats and aircraft.

Safety & privacy are non-negotiable
Camera-based play you can actually trust
DriveHunt is designed so it can't quietly become a surveillance tool. Most captures never leave your phone.
On-device processing
Vehicle detection runs on the device. The server usually receives only derived signals — never your raw camera roll.
Faces & plates blurred
Faces, pedestrians, license plates and house numbers are blurred on-device before any frame could ever be uploaded.
No raw plates, ever
We never store plate images or plate text. Only a short-lived, irreversible hash is used to stop duplicate-farming — it can't rebuild a plate database.
Coarse location & geofencing
Gameplay uses rounded, coarse location. Spotting is disabled in restricted zones like schools, hospitals and government sites.

Bank your Ride Card, complete Series, tune cards with Parts, race in async Time Trials, and swap duplicates at the Swap Meet.
